It's raining and I have the recording rig under a large beach-umbrella. Northern Whipbirds can be heard (amongst others, Catbird etc). Recording chain: Audio Techinica AT3032 mics - Sound Devices MixPre - Edirol R09HR. The white cardboard box in the pic below is a makeshift baffle to increase the stereo separation.
