Low Frequency Freeway Ambiance.WAV

Taken on a winter midnight when most of the car and non-commercial traffic was gone leaving most Tractor-Trailers or Semi-Trucks on the freeway. Taken with Roland R-07, no LowCut, no Windscreen for maximum low frequency capture. Recorder positioned perpendicular with overpass in background at 45 degrees off recorder for distant resonance and thumps and closer right angle building walls corner nearby off 90 degrees and 180 degrees from recorder acting as a bass resonator.


In the spirit of sounds being free I don't process, resample, tweak, add effects or modify sounds in post other than trimming for desired bits to leave the sample as open as possible for everyone to rework, sample, and process as they see fit for use in a variety of different settings.
