Ice floe breaking as it hits the shore of the Seekonk River in Providence, Rhode Island, USA. This recording contains three takes, from different positions. Recorded with a Sony PCM-D50. 120-degree mic pattern (wide stereo image). Some editing and compression/limiting has been applied.
