Fire Crackling Sound

by ShannonAHoniball

Description

Fire crackling was created by breaking matches and the air bubbles in plastic wrapping sounds like the louder pops from firewood and then I rubbed brown paper and plastic on each other, also rubbing polystyrene on a wire brush. I wriggled a piece of foil to make the warm crackling sound of a fire.

Sound was recorded using Zoom H6 recorder, the microphone that was used was the interchangeable input capsule X/Y microphone, that comes with the recorder. Reaper was used to remove some noise reduction was done using ReaFir.
