Computer Drive Failing

The DVD drive on my PC dying a noisy and unpleasant death - yes, it really was making this noise! I'm no expert but I'd say they shouldn't sound like that. I didn't do anything to cause it - I just did what any self-respecting sound enthusiast would do, and reached for the nearest mic. I'd like to thank the engineers at LG Electronics for building such creative sound-making features in to their products. Also, you guys owe me a new computer drive...
