Description
These vintage toms were specifically tuned and recorded to compliment each other in a drum mix. All samples are matched at an equal gain of -3dB to assure a consistent balance of volume throughout triggering. Both toms were also recorded with Remo Emperor coated drum heads and Sennheiser drum microphones. I used a very subtle amount of EQ and compressor processing. Being vintage drums, I wanted to stay true to that original "warm" tone as possible.
