Description
Salmon charter fishing boats heading out to sea just before dawn on Yaquina Bay in Newport, Oregon. Also lots of seagulls and ambient sounds of a small town fishing harbor in the very early morning. Recorded at about 6:00 AM from the fuel dock at the Embarcadero marina in Newport, where I worked in the summers circa 1981. The sounds echo off a sea-wall about 80 meters from the dock - see the geotag.
