by djgriffin

Description

recording of a medium sized Tibetan Buddhist double sided hand drum, called a damaru in Tibetan, which when turned, two small pom poms on string stike the skin on either side. This drum is used by monks/lamas/ngakpas/yogis in the practice of Chod, a Tantric Yoga. -
This drum was made in Kathmandu, Nepal and recorded by me in London, UK with slight interference from my laptop fan!!!
