I used one original file and two more bass versions, 3 semitones and 12 semitones lower, and I mixed the files on WaveLab allowing digital distortion via the use of MultiBand Compressor > merge all sub-bands into the full spectrum band (do not have lo, mid, hi but instead have all) > Compressor Classic > Soft Clip on and make the sound 0.7 dB louder before rendering.
note: I am a physicalist
