Description
A set of five "plocks" one after the other for comparison. They are similar sounding and uniform in length, but distinct enough to tell apart. Each is available as an independent download in the plocks sound pack.
Without any attack to speak of, the first 300ms of each noise contains most of its density, followed by an additional 100ms fade out. The five 400ms sounds are separated by 100ms of silence, with each beginning at half second increments.
The sounds were made with Grainstorm, an android granular synthesis app, and then cleaned up and normalized (-30db) with Audacity.
