Description
An assortment of crickets, cicadas, and katydids (in the background) recorded on a warm summers evening just after midnight, next to a hedgerow in the corner of a field in Hamlin, NY.Equipment used was an 18" parabolic dish with homemade components, housing a Radio Shack stereo "clip on" mic, plugged into a Sony Walkman MZ NF-810 minidisk recorder.
