Description
A quick foley session with the remains of a broken filament LED bulb which decided to yeet itself off a shelf and shatter on the floor. I decided, before vacuuming up the mess, to take the opportunity to record some glass shattering foley.
This was done by dropping shards onto the floor, dropping a screwdriver onto the pile, and also crushing shards with pliers. Protection was taken as well as thorough cleaning to ensure no shards remained. No one else was allowed in the room when I did this.
Note that these recordings have been modified in Audacity. Some sounds are layered and mixed together, others are pitch shifted. This is for dramatic effect, as I'm also experimenting with sound design.
Recorded using a Razer Seiren Mini 3 mic and Audacity 3.7.6 (Linux).
