Description
This sound file is a piece of a larger file made by taking a years worth of tidal data from Sandy Hook, NJ, USA, adding interpolated points between the 6-minute tidal data, and then importing the data into Audacity as a raw file. The sample frequency and/or number of interpolated data points changed the frequency of the sound, but the pulsating nature was the constant; produced by the neap and spring tidal cycles (~750 tides in a year). Five of those sound frequencies were merged into one "symphony" to create this files. I used Audacity to adjust the frequencies to C, D, and E.
