Description
This is a recording of a male Blackcap (Sylvia atricapilla) singing in late July. Many males give this varied, more continuous song which often contains mimicry of other species, although it is often difficult to pick out. I have heard this song in the spring and late summer. This is a Blackcap singing at his best.
