Tweed Estuary
by Northumberland_Sound_Archive
Description
A lovely quiet morning on the Tweed Estuary, Berwick-upon-Tweed. Wading birds mix with the chatter of starlings and sparrows. We can hear the sound of an electric train crossing the Royal border bridge. Berwick was a favourite summer holiday destination for the painter L S Lowrie. From the book The Sound of a Landscape: The Northumberland Coast in Art, Sound and Poetry. Recorded by MiE Fielding using a Zoom H3Vr ambisonic microphone. Best with headphones
