A microcassette I found in an old fax/answering machine on 05/12/2018.
I made every effort to remove any private information I could hear on the tape, however there's still some talking buried beneath the tape fuzz so if you hear something I can't and you think it should be redacted, please let me know. Remarkable clarity for a microcassette; unfortunately most of what's here is pretty banal. Lot's of dish washing noises and other household sounds, with the occasional speaking. There are some amusing moments, though:
(man): "Cuba is one of our trading partners, why can't we sell Puerto Rico to Cuba? [laughs] They'd love that, it's only fifty miles away!"
(man): "Isn't this a, uh, cassette or something? there's a cassette-"
(older man): "I'll be darned!"
